Runway East was founded in 2014 by entrepreneurs who knew the challenges of scaling startups, experiencing first hand rigid spaces, disconnected communities and uninspiring offices.

2014

Founders Natasha Guerra and Alex Hoye loved the look of the co working spaces they worked in, but didn’t love how boring they were. They kicked things off with a pop up co working space just off Old Street roundabout in London.

2015

Runway East’s first permanent location opens in Moorgate at number 10 Finsbury Square

2016

Potentially our most famous feature (even more so than co working), Cake Wednesday is born

2018

Our regional flag ship space, Runway East Bristol Bridge launches at 80% sold, filling up 3 months later

2020

Covid. Not great for a business selling offices… We put members first and suspended/reduced our fees for as many of them as we could. Plus had one too many painful virtual team socials.

2022

We become B Corp accredited!

2023

Runway East hits the South Coast with Runway East Brighton at 50 New England Street.

Strengthening our position as largest operator in the South West, we open of Runway East Bath.
