High energy, high impact, and a literal stone’s throw from the world’s best food market. Meet Matisse, Marketing Executive at Ozone, a digital advertising business, “powered by human connections”, based at Runway East Borough Market. Now a team of 100, Ozone is proof that scaling is much simpler when your office actually makes life easier. They have grown from barely filling desks to taking over an entire floor, all while the community team handles the daily logistics.

“Brilliantly Serviced”: The Secret to Ozone’s Easy Office Life

Ozone’s rapid scale is the perfect match for the flexibility of Runway East. Since moving in, the team has quite literally “grown into the space”. Matisse noted that “when we moved in a few years ago, we could barely fill the desks,” and now they are struggling to fit everyone in.

That kind of high-speed expansion only works when the site team handles the operational load. Matisse explains that the site is “brilliantly serviced,” which removes the friction of managing a large office. She highlights the ultimate win for a team is “we have never run out of milk”. Ozone enjoys the privacy of an HQ with five internal breakout rooms and dedicated phone booths, all while still benefiting from the serviced office support.

Matisse finds that the building’s layout makes networking feel effortless, noting that “upstairs ground control is a really nice place to mingle” with other members. When the working day finally winds down, the social energy shifts as Matisse admits that “doing shots with people is always a fun way to meet new people”.

The community events are Matisse’s “absolute favourite” part of the membership. She is a big fan of the monthly creative workshops, like keychain making, but nothing quite tops Cake Wednesdays. As Matisse puts it, “everyone just loves cake, it’s the best thing”. For her, these sessions are the perfect reset because “it’s nice to be able to step away from working and do something mindful”.

You can’t talk about this location without mentioning the food. Being right next to Borough Market means the Ozone team has “tons of amazing food literally at your fingertips”. When Matisse needs a break, she heads straight for the market stalls. Her top picks? “The Black Pig stall; they do really good sandwiches”. She claims that “the hype is real”.

But it’s not just about the lunch run. The office is perfectly tucked into the local landscape, sitting just three minutes from London Bridge Station. During the summer, the team takes full advantage of the Runway East roof terrace, which Matisse notes has a “great view of The Shard”; the perfect spot for a post-work drink or a quick game of rooftop ping pong. And on those days when she just needs to escape the “hustle and bustle” to focus, she heads to the window seat in Ground Control to enjoy the peace and reset.

Ready for a workspace that’s as high-energy as the market next door and where the milk never runs out?
